This session with Marissa and Justin is easily one of my all-time favorites. We shot it in a beautiful valley nestled between the mountains in Provo, Utah, and the setting was pure magic. The sun poured through the hills, casting that dreamy, golden light photographers live for, especially across the green rolling fields. It was the perfect backdrop for a romantic mountain anniversary session.
I first met Marissa and Justin when I did model call at an art museum, and we’ve been friends ever since. They’re the kind of couple who are always down for an adventure and bring so much energy and personality to every shoot. This session was actually kind of spontaneous. I had a last-minute cancellation and didn’t want to miss the opportunity to shoot in this stunning location. I reached out to Marissa and Justin to see if they were free, and thankfully, they were! We scheduled it for the following week, and it ended up being one of the most fun, gorgeous sessions I’ve ever had.
